Staying with The Adkins in Buxton. Very chilled. Lots if


kid time. Managed a 5 miler. Lots of snow as well.

Finally

5 miles from Woodford to home. Pizza and salad for dinner. Cora made a carrot cake for Buxton tomorrow.

Another snowy wednesday in january

It was snowing when we got up today.. quite a surprise.







Cora cooked a quick dinner of Prawns and rice... and we met the neighbours at number 9.

raw prawns
celery

mushrooms

green beans

garlic

fresh chilli

and a sauce made of:

fish sauce

thai sweet chilli sauce

thai hot chilli sauce

Then: blanch beans first, heat oil, fry chilli & garlic, add prawns (careful not to overcook) .. remove prawns, stir fry all veg, add sauce, add prawns. served with steamed rice.
